On the 29 August 2023, CEO of Canyon Resources Ltd, Jean-Sebastien Boutet, and André Henry, the General Manager of Canyon subsidiary Camalco had a positive and productive meeting with the General Manager of the Port Authority of Douala. The purpose of the meeting was to progress discussions regarding the port solution for Camalco and the Minim Martap Bauxite Project in Cameroon.

CEO of Canyon, Jean-Sebastien Boutet said, “I’m very pleased with the progress we are making with the Port Authority of Douala. Access to the Port and supporting infrastructure is critical to our Minim Martap Project. We look forward to continuing to work collaboratively with them to advance the project and the significant contribution of jobs, investment and long-term economic benefit to Cameroon.
