Mr Hohnen has been involved in the mineral resource sector since the late 1970s and has extensive international business experience in a wide range of industries including mining and exploration, property, investment, software and agriculture. Mr Hohnen has served as Non-executive Chairman of Boss Resources Ltd (ASX:BOE), and was also a director of Kalahari Minerals and Extract Resources, having successfully negotiated the sale of both companies to Taurus Minerals Ltd.

Mr Hohnen is currently Non-executive Chairman of Parabellum Resources Limited (ASX:PBL). Canyon Resources Limited

Mr David Netherway

Non-Executive Director

Mr Netherway is a mining engineer with over 45 years of experience in the mining industry receiving a B.E in Mining Engineering and Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance. Mr Netherway is currently the non-executive Chairman or Director of a number of UK, Canadian and Australian companies and funds including: Altus Resource Capital Ltd (ARCL:LN), Kore Potash Ltd (ASX: KP2), and Silver47 Exploration Corporation (CVE: SSV).

Mr Scott Phegan

Non-Executive Director

Mr Phegan has held multiple technical, project, strategic and executive roles within the bauxite and alumina industries over a 30-year international career with Alcoa. In his capacity as Global Director for Process Design and Development, he was responsible for design and commissioning of multibillion-dollar refining expansions and refining development projects in Australia, Middle East, Brazil, Guinea, Ghana, Jamaica and Vietnam.

Mr Phegan is intimately familiar with the bauxite industry supply lines, customers, and mining practices in relation to alumina refining and project development, as well as the bauxite business development pathway having supported customer development activities in China and Vietnam over several years.

His experience extends across the full project execution lifecycle from study phases through to construction, commissioning and operations.

Mr Peter Su​

Non-Executive Director

Mr Su is actively involved in property investment and development in Australia and overseas. Mr Su is a Perth-based strategic investor with a diverse range of business interests both within Australia and overseas. The Su Family have historically held commercial interests in bauxite and aluminia refining in China.

Mr Gaurav Gupta

Non-Executive Director

Mr Gupta manages a Monetary Authority of a Singapore registered family office, with high-growth / investment holdings across the mineral and biotech industries. Within the mining sector, these investments encompass base and precious metals, coloured gemstones, and the broader Electric Vehicle supply chain, including a major holding in Canyon through EEA.

Mr Gupta has over 25 years’ experience in international trade and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Delhi.

Mr Jean-Sebastien Boutet

Mr Boutet is an accomplished leader in bauxite project development, commodity marketing, operations, international negotiations, business and corporate development, and international supply chain logistics. Mr Boutet most recently held senior positions with Alufer Mining Ltd and Alcoa Corporation. Mr Boutet boasts extensive bauxite and aluminia experience worldwide including West Africa, previously serving alongside the Guinea Mines Minister on the board of Compagnie Des Bauxites de Guinée (CBG).

Mr Andre Henry

Director of Port and Rail, Camalco

As Director of Port and Rail, Andre Henry joins Camalco Director General Rick Smith in Cameroon, based in the Camrail office near the port of Douala. Mr Henry has over 35 years of experience in rail and logistics leading billion-dollar international railway initiatives for AECOM’s West African, Middle East and North American businesses, including the Emirates Global Aluminium bauxite project in Guinea. Mr Henry also operates his own successful rail consultancy business having previously worked on the Cameroonian rail network. Bringing direct experience on the Cameroon rail line, and a well-connected network of technical and governmental contacts in Cameroon, Mr Henry is well placed to take the rail and port project elements to the next phase of development.

Mr Rick Smith​

Chief Development Officer

Rick Smith has over 35 years’ experience in new markets, business development, exploration, feasibility studies and construction in bauxite and alumina projects internationally. Mr Smith most recently served as the General Manager of Operations and Projects at Guinea Alumina Corporation S.A from 2013 to June 2016, and the Business Support Director from 2016 through to 2019. Mr Smith was part of the executive team that successfulyl delivered the Guinea Alumina Corporation USD 1.4billion bauxite mine-rail-port export project in Kamsar, Guinea. Previously Mr Smith worked for BHP where he was the Conakry, Guinea based Project Director for the Aluminum Boffa Santou Houda bauxite/alumina project from 2009 to 2012. Prior to this, Mr Smith worked in BHP’s Aluminium Group looking at business development opportunities in SE Asia. Mr Smith has also held positions at Guld Canada Resources Ltd.
