Whilst the site team have been hosting a VIP site visit and finishing off the drilling programme the BFS team have been cracking on with the study. Mining Plus, who are supporting us on the resource, reserves and mining contract tendering completed the tender documents which were issued to the pre-selected mining contractors, some of which were present on the early 2020 contractor and consultant site visit. The resource update is well under way and the metallurgical results are being analysed and integrated giving us a strong position of understanding of how our product will perform in the refineries. CIE-MCC have pushed on well on the mine site infrastructure and port elements of the study and we welcome Lu Zhang to our team, seconded from METS Engineering, who is supporting us with the study and interface with CIE-MCC. Lu and comes from a background as an Australian-Chinese process engineer and it is great to have her join us. Our team is also preparing to grow in the specialised rail space as we begin the process to employ a dedicated rail contract negotiator lead, and we think we’ve found the perfect person for the role! Further on the HR front we have had RightOn consulting join our consortium of experts to integrate detailed Cameroon labour code elements into both the study (organisational design and detailed labour cost evaluation) and the operational readiness package for onboarding and training. This will be consolidated into our Human Resources Management Plan which we are developing to support the ESIA and the future business. As always, plenty going on. J
